LG’s new flagship phone, dubbed the Optimus 4X HD, is set to be announced at next week’s Mobile World Congress. As manufacturers try to one up each other before the big event in Barcelona, leaks of bigger and faster phones are starting to come out of the woodwork. This one will be tough to beat.
This latest beast is said to be powered by a quad-core Tegra 3 CPU. If that’s not enough to whet your appetite, other features include 4.7 inch 720p display, 8MP camera, 21Mbps HSPA data support all running off of Ice Cream Sandwich. The Korean based electronics manufacturer has just fired a shot directly off of it’s countyman’s (Samsung) bow. Will Samsung counter with any major announcements at this year’s MWC? Sadly, it doesn’t seem to be the case.
